Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Australian public practice accounting experience.
• Exposure to SME and mid-market clients with AUD 5M-100M+ turnover.
• Experience preparing Australian financial statements, tax workpapers, and income tax returns.
• Strong understanding of Australian taxation, GST, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Australian income tax returns and advisory reports.
• Conduct tax research and provide advice on Australian taxation, GST, and complex matters.
• Support structuring initiatives, cross-border transactions, and indirect tax advisory projects.
• Assist with asset acquisitions, divestments, financing arrangements, and IPO-related tax matters.
• Liaise with the ATO regarding reviews, audits, and dispute resolution.
