Job summary

Beepo is seeking an Industrial / Product Designer for a remote, project-based engagement. You will design and develop products across lighting, furniture, homewares and lifestyle categories, taking concepts from sketches through to production-ready designs.

Produce 3D CAD models, technical drawings, renders and specifications, and collaborate with merchandising and product teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and manufacturable. AI-assisted design tools experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing consumer products end-to-end.
• Experience in homewares, lighting, furniture, or related consumer categories.
• Advanced SolidWorks (or equivalent 3D CAD).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, tooling, and production methods.
• Turn mood boards, trend reports, and briefs into market-ready products.
• Experience with AI-assisted design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products across lighting, furniture, homewares and lifestyle categories.
• Take products from initial sketches through to production-ready designs.
• Produce 3D CAD models, technical drawings, renders and product specifications.
• Work with merchandising and product teams so designs are commercially viable, manufacturable and on-strategy.
• Develop materials, finishes, colour palettes and product detailing in line with brand direction.
• Refine concepts based on stakeholder feedback, testing, and manufacturing requirements.
• Research design trends, consumer insights, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
• Run multiple product-development projects at once and keep documentation organised.
• Present concepts and recommendations confidently in design reviews.
