Job summary

AbroadWorks Inc. is seeking a Hedge Fund Accountant to support NAV production for a private equity client portfolio, with close collaboration to Senior Fund Accountants. This fully remote role is based in the Philippines, with work hours aligned to Pacific Standard Time.

Qualifications

• Prior fund accounting experience is required.
• Understanding of closed-ended funds is a plus.
• Accounting designation experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities, and constant change.
• Ability to allocate time effectively and manage tight deadlines.
• Prior experience with PFS-Paxus is desired.
• Ability to manage own time and workload effectively ensuring deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist with NAV calculations and capital activity recording.
• Record cash activity and perform cash reconciliations.
• Price portfolios per fund documents and ensure proper accruals.
• Prepare investor statements and contract notes.
• Support financial statements preparation and year-end audits.
• Coordinate with Investor Services and respond to client requests.
• Update Wrike and SOC audit documentation as needed.
