Job summary

Tenki is seeking a Golang Engineer to join a small, highly capable team building the future of compute markets. The role is remote, with core hours in LATAM (GMT-3) or the Philippines (GMT+8), and requires fluency in English.

You will architect core gRPC services, manage identity via the Ory stack, and implement immutable infrastructure with security in mind, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable compute platforms.

Qualifications

Proficient Golang engineer with experience building high-performance, concurrent applications.
Strong track record architecting and maintaining gRPC services and robust API contracts.
Experience with identity services and securing user data (OIDC/OAuth2).
Understanding of overlay networking and service meshes to securely connect microservices.
Experience mitigating adversarial traffic and implementing DDoS strategies.
Designs systems with immutable infrastructure and rapid reconstruction in mind.
Able to write clear Engineering Requirement Documents and translate concepts into plans.
Ability to operate in ambiguous, early-stage environments with ownership and grit.

Responsibilities

Architect, maintain, and evolve core gRPC APIs and services.
Design and operate a private, programmable microservices fabric across the platform.
Manage identity services on the Ory stack (Kratos, Keto, Hydra).
Develop strategies to mitigate DDoS and ensure security and resilience.
Build high-performance Golang gRPC services scalable to millions of users.
Define infrastructure with immutable principles for tear-down and rapid recovery.
Document engineering requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
