Job summary

Talanto is seeking a backend/platform engineer to build and own the platform powering CI/CD, observability, and incident response. You will strengthen SLOs, improve on-call, and optimize costs and scaling across workloads.

You must have 4+ years in backend or platform engineering with hands-on production ownership, Go experience, and IaC tooling (OpenTofu/Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Strong communication and a product mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in backend or platform engineering with hands-on production ownership.
• Experience with Go and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines, observability stacks, or developer-facing tooling.
• Experience with on-call processes and improving it.
• Experience with IaC tools: OpenTofu/Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong product mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the platform powering CI/CD, observability, and incident response.
• Strengthen SLOs and observability posture with better signals.
• Improve on-call experience: alert quality, response speed, postmortem hygiene.
• Optimize platform cost and scaling across workloads and regions.
• Own internal developer experience from local development to debugging production.
