Job summary

BruntWork is seeking an experienced Full-Stack .NET Developer (C# | ASP.NET MVC | SQL Server) to join the technology team. You’ll work in a live production platform, solving issues, delivering enhancements, and improving processes, with a focus on reliability and code quality.

The role involves Tuesday–Saturday Australian hours, remote, collaboration with an Australian team, and ongoing modernization of the tech stack. Strong testing and automation experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional .NET web development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC 5 and .NET Framework.
• Experience with Razor Views (.cshtml) and Entity Framework 6.
• Solid SQL Server / T-SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS/Sass/SCSS, and Git/GitHub.
• Experience in working with an existing production codebase.
• Experience with manual and functional testing of web apps.
• Experience with browser automation testing (Playwright or similar).
• Ability to understand requirements and communicate clearly; detail-oriented and independent.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance existing ASP.NET MVC apps on .NET Framework.
• Develop and deliver small to medium features and enhancements.
• Investigate and resolve bugs and production issues.
• Implement changes from technical specs to high standard.
• Create focused pull requests and participate in code reviews.
• Write and execute manual and functional tests before release.
• Contribute to automated regression testing for key user journeys using Playwright or similar tools.
• Work with SQL Server, including views, stored procedures, functions, and T-SQL.
• Maintain front-end with Razor Views, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS/Sass/SCSS, Bootstrap.
• Support and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clarify requirements.
