Job summary

RxTro Pty Ltd is seeking a mid-level Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team on a fully remote basis. You'll work Australian business hours with our Sydney-based team, delivering features for a healthcare platform used across the country.

The role covers building React front end and C#/Java back-end services, designing data models in SQL Server on Azure, and deploying apps on Azure. You will collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team and contribute code reviews.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a full stack developer.
• Strong experience with React for front-end.
• Proficient in C# and/or Java for back-end development.
• Experience with SQL Server, ideally in an Azure environment.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed team.
• Excellent written communication skills for async and live collaboration.

Responsibilities

The Role

We're looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team on a fully remote, work-from-home basis. You'll work Australian business hours alongside our Sydney-based team, contributing to a platform that's actively used by healthcare professionals across the country.

What you'll be doing

• Building and maintaining features across our React front end and C#/Java back-end services

• Working with SQL Server (Azure-native) to design and optimise data models

• Deploying and supporting applications hosted on Microsoft Azure

• Collaborating closely with our Sydney-based product and engineering team during Australian business hours

• Writing clean, tested, maintainable code and participating in code reviews

• Troubleshooting issues across the stack, from UI quirks to backend performance

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a full stack (or strong backend/frontend hybrid) developer

• Solid experience with React for front-end development

• Working proficiency in C# and/or Java for backend development

• Experience with SQL Server, ideally in an Azure environment

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed team

• Strong written communication skills — you'll be collaborating async and live with a team in a different time zone

• A reliable internet connection and a home setup suited to focused, professional work

Nice to have

• Experience in health tech, or a regulated industry where data integrity matters

• Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or Infrastructure-as-Code

• Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices patterns
