Job summary

Connext is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and business analysis across finance and cross-functional teams. You will develop insights on revenue, cash flow, gross margin, and performance drivers.

This remote, full-time role requires a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting and at least three years in FP&A. You will build models, dashboards, and analyses, partner with Operations, Marketing, Technology, and Retail to drive informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.
• Experience with financial modeling and analyzing complex financial datasets.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and presenting financial insights.
• Demonstrates strong financial planning and modeling skills.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex financial data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
• Proven ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Self-starter who can adapt quickly in an evolving business environment.
• Clear and coherent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.
• Develop and refine forecasting and cash models through data gathering and variance analysis.
• Own recurring financial reporting processes and dashboards with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare financial analyses related to gross margin, COGS variances, and price/volume/mix impacts.
• Support annual budgeting processes by coordinating inputs and preparing schedules.
• Assist with monthly reforecast cycles by updating models and explaining variances.
• Support budget vs actual and forecast vs actual reviews with department leaders.
• Assist in preparing board and investor reporting materials under Finance leadership guidance.
• Partner with Operations, Marketing, Technology, and Retail to gather financial information and provide actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, financial models, and data accuracy.
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
