Job summary

Amihan Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer (Fortinet) for remote, full-time work across international networks. You will configure Fortinet FortiGate environments, monitor threats, and ensure secure operations, collaborating with IT and Security teams to uphold robust defenses.

The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity operations, hands-on Fortinet experience, and proficiency in threat detection, incident response, and VPN/IDS management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Cybersecurity Operations Engineer or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewall and security systems.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, threat detection, and incident response.
• Experience implementing and managing VPNs, IPS/IDS, and security policies.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and network monitoring solutions.
• Understanding of routing, switching, and secure network architecture.
• Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and maintain Fortinet firewall and cybersecurity infrastructure.
• Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to strengthen defenses.
• Collaborate with IT and Security teams to ensure a secure, reliable environment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cybersecurity operations.
• Continuously enhance security measures through proactive monitoring and best practices.
