Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive enterprise growth across the Philippines and Southeast Asia. The role focuses on identifying strategic accounts, engaging senior stakeholders, and managing long sales cycles for AI-powered SaaS solutions.

You will own the end-to-end sales process, collaborating with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Pre-Sales to ensure successful deals and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Technology, or related field.
• 7–12 years in B2B Sales or Business Development, preferably in enterprise SaaS.
• Experience managing enterprise sales cycles of 6+ months and USD 100,000+ deals.
• Proven track record selling enterprise software or SaaS such as HR systems, CDP, SFA, or similar.
• Strong experience owning full sales cycle and delivering BD results.
• Experience engaging with senior management and C-level stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Tagalog in writing and speaking.
• Comfortable working remotely with independence, ownership, time management.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Experience in multinational cross-cultural environments.
• Willingness to occasional on-site client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic enterprise accounts across the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
• Engage senior and C-level stakeholders and understand their business requirements.
• Manage the complete enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Identify and prioritize new opportunities through outbound and inbound strategies.
• Position AI-powered SaaS solutions based on client challenges and objectives.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and accurate CRM with regular forecasts.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Pre-Sales teams.
• Build long-term strategic relationships through follow-ups and value creation.
• Leverage warm leads and internal resources to accelerate growth.
• Participate in high-value client meetings with regional support.
• Align business development activities with company growth objectives.
