Job summary

Mintrix Business Advisory is seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant who can interpret electrical plans and drawings to Victoria (AU) or US standards. You will review layouts, identify electrical symbols, and assist with basic take-offs and estimations while maintaining project documentation.

The role requires strong English communication, reliability for remote work, and experience with drafting tools such as AutoCAD or Bluebeam. This is a remote position based in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read and interpret electrical plans and drawings.
• Familiarity with common electrical symbols used in Australian (Victoria) or US standards.
• Background in electrical engineering, drafting, or a related field (study or work experience).
• Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical plans and technical drawings.
• Identify and understand common electrical symbols (e.g. power points, lighting, switches, hot water systems).
• Assist with basic take-offs, estimations, and plan mark-ups.
• Organise and maintain project documentation and files.
• Ensure accuracy when working with technical layouts.
• Communicate clearly with the team regarding updates and plan interpretations.
