Job summary

Two Connect in a remote role is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to provide remote design and drafting support across commercial renewable energy projects. You will produce AutoCAD drawings, single-line diagrams, cable layouts, and documentation for solar PV, battery storage, and related electrical infrastructure. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to Australian standards, and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD drafting and electrical design.
• Experience producing single-line diagrams and schematics for power systems.
• Knowledge of low-voltage distribution and protection.
• Ability to prepare construction drawings and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs and drafting documentation for renewable energy projects (solar PV, storage).
• Prepare accurate single-line diagrams, cable layouts, equipment layouts, schematics, and construction drawings in AutoCAD.
• Support design-and-construct electrical projects for commercial applications.
• Produce professional drawings and project records with minimal supervision.
• Assist with switchboard modification drawings and LV distribution layouts.
