Qualifications

• Licensed Medical Technologist in good standing.
• Certified Drug Analyst certification required.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and record-keeping.
• Experience in remote collection is preferred.
• Familiarity with DOH regulations, drug testing guidelines, and lab safety protocols.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends (remote collection).
• Experience handling pre-employment, random, post-accident drug testing programs.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive urine specimens following standard collection procedures.
• Verify patient identity and ensure proper specimen labeling and documentation.
• Perform drug screening tests using approved testing methods and equipment.
• Record, analyze, and accurately report test results.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory records, reports, and other required documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and test results.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation of the drug testing area.
• Monitor inventory of testing kits, laboratory supplies, and consumables.
• Coordinate with physicians, employers, and clients regarding testing schedules and requirements when necessary.
