Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and perform specimen samples prior to processing.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and keep logs.
• Conduct physical, chemical, microscopic, and microbiological examinations.
• Ensure timely collection, transport, and storage of specimens.
• Validate laboratory procedures and ensure compliance.
• Assist in study implementation; handle and transport specimens.
• Maintain all laboratory equipment.
• Ensure proper collection, transport and storage of specimens.
• Monitor refrigerator usage and temperature daily.
• Validate procedures and drug testing against standards.
• Ensure timely reporting and accurate results.
• Knowledge of DOH compliance and licensing.

Job Description:

• Collect, Analyze and Perform specimen samples prior to processing
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and record logbooks, all due details. Perform troubleshooting of equipment, when necessary
• Calibration and daily quality control
• Physical performs, chemical, microscopic and microbiological examination on blood and other body fluids
• Analyze laboratory reports and data accuracy
• Support study implementation by collecting, handling and storing specimens of patients, running applicable point-of-care tests, and facilitating onward transport of specimens to partner laboratories.
• Maintenance of ALL laboratory Equipments.
• Timely and proper collection, transport and storage of specimen samples.
• Monitoring refrigerator usage for laboratory and drug test specimens. Daily monitoring of temperature.
• Validates and perform the investigation SOP of laboratory procedures & drug testing against standards and conducting necessary confirmation.
• Ensures turn - around-time TAT is practice in timely reporting and releasing of test results accurately.
• Knowledgeable in DOH Compliance and Licensing process.
