Job summary

Abbott in the Philippines (Taguig) seeks a technical support professional to provide first-line assistance for Abbott ARDx products across Infectious Diseases, Toxicology, Cardiometabolic and Informatics units. You will handle inquiries by phone, email, and web tools, ensuring compliant, high-quality responses and swift issue resolution.

The role requires a 1-year clinical/customer-support background, strong communication, and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work across time zones.

Qualifications

• 3rd level certificate, diploma or degree in science or related field.
• At least 1 year in a medical/clinical environment or customer-facing support.
• Demonstrates problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Understanding of technical writing requirements.
• Computer literacy: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Mandarin fluency is a distinct advantage.
• Office-based role with some flexibility.
• Ability to take ownership and manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound calls and emails in a professional, friendly manner.
• Review and manage group mailboxes to address inquiries and complaints.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting across designated product range.
• Document complaints following guidelines for complete records.
• Communicate investigation conclusions to customers in reports or calls.
• Resolve inquiries within KPI timelines for individuals, team and company.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
• Develop expertise in product areas and share knowledge within ARDx Tech Support.
• Execute applicable Quality System processes.
• Maintain ability to comply with business continuity plan (work remotely if required).
• Other duties as assigned.
• Take ownership of daily tasks and flag risks to Team Lead.
• Support customers in different market time zones as required.
