HedgeServ (Philippines) LLC – Manila Branch is seeking a Database Services Manager with deep knowledge of SQL Server and cloud platforms. The role involves shift work and managing a team in a hybrid environment, focusing on automated processes and database operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Database Operations Manager in a 24x7 support system.
• Working expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Always-On 2019-2025.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Packer in cloud environments.
• Experience with NoSQL DBMS - MongoDB.
• Experience with DWH - Snowflake.
• ITIL and Agile framework experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Database Services operations team in a hybrid environment.
• Conduct monthly and yearly reviews and performance improvement plans.
• Oversee weekend maintenance activities and change-management activities.
• Build new automation processes and tools using Terraform and Ansible.
