Job summary

A leading data services company in the Philippines is seeking a skilled Database Services Manager to oversee operations involving SQL Server, Terraform, and Ansible. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and extensive managerial experience in database operations within a 24x7 support system. You will lead weekend maintenance activities, ensure optimal resource management, and support DWH projects using NoSQL technologies. This role requires you to work shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.
• Proven experience as Database operations manager in a 24x7 support system.
• Working expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Always-ON 2019 - 2025.

Responsibilities

• Manage Database Services operations team supporting SQL Server systems.
• Oversee weekend maintenance activities including automated OS patching.
• Ensure adherence to company processes and best practices.

Experience with Ansible
