Job summary

ScalableOS is hiring a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will automate infrastructure, develop data platforms, and ensure security and governance. Collaboration with onshore architects and delivery teams is essential.

The role requires strong Python, Airflow, Databricks, and Terraform expertise, plus experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud security. Remote work is supported with night-shift alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, Architecture, DevOps or related roles.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, IaC and Terraform.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in containerized environments.
• Experience with cloud migration, security, and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Develop platform engineering with Python for automation and integrations.
• Operate Airflow/Astronomer Astro DAGs and provide support.
• Administer Databricks workspaces, jobs, clusters, notebooks, Unity Catalog.
• Manage AWS IAM, EKS, S3, Secrets Manager, Lambda, CloudWatch, networking.
• Use Terraform for cloud and platform provisioning.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with Harness and GitOps.
• Design self-service platform capabilities and onboarding patterns.
• Maintain cloud security, IAM roles, secrets management and governance.
• Troubleshoot across infra, platform and application integration layers.
• Collaborate with onshore architects and client/delivery teams.
