Job summary

Optum is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join its Cyber Defense team in a remote role. You will hunt threats, analyze data, and produce actionable intelligence for security operations and leadership.

Responsibilities include using AI tools to streamline workflows, mapping adversary techniques to MITRE ATT&CK, and collaborating with Incident Response, SOC, and engineering teams to strengthen detection and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity defense, incident response or threat intelligence.
• 1+ years threat hunting and mapping to frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience writing tactical and operational threat intelligence briefs or reports.

Responsibilities

• Use enterprise‑approved AI tools to streamline threat intelligence workflows.
• Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response and Detection teams on threat context and remediation.
• Monitor TTPs, malwares, vulnerabilities, and IOCs relevant to the org.
• Produce actionable intelligence for technical teams and executives.
• Translate threat intelligence into detection logic and use cases.
