Job summary

Alpaca, a US-headquartered crypto trading and brokerage platform, is seeking a distributed operations professional to join the Crypto team reporting to the Global Director of Crypto Operations. This remote role supports daily monitoring, onboarding, AML investigations, and trade and cash management tasks.

You will work across time zones with a 9am-5pm PT core window, engage with internal and external partners, ensure regulatory alignment, and drive improvements to workflows and tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in broker‑dealer/financial services/trading or crypto operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency, or strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily customer activity and surveillance.
• Assist with onboarding, KYC, and account approvals; support trading and cash management.
• Support AML program and investigations; drive workflow and tool improvements.
