Job summary

Livaclean is seeking a Social Media & Affiliate Manager to build a thriving Discord community and nurture a select group of creators. You’ll blend community management with affiliate strategy, engaging Gen Z creators and hosting biweekly calls.

You’ll own Discord setup, do 1:1 outreach, and coordinate with founders to turn creators into loyal brand ambassadors. Remote, flexible hours, and growth opportunity within a fast-growing skincare brand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Community Manager, Affiliate Manager, or Creator Manager.
• Strong understanding of Gen Z social communication, TikTok culture, and creator ecosystems.
• Warm, friendly, and personable on camera; strong on-screen presence is a plus.
• Strong written English skills; verbal fluency is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience managing Discord communities (or similar platforms like Slack, Geneva, Circle).
• Comfortable doing outreach, DMs, and building 1:1 creator relationships.
• Tech-savvy with ability to quickly learn tools like Discord, TikTok, Notion, and ClickUp.
• High emotional intelligence and people skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage our Discord community, ensuring it is active, fun, and welcoming.
• Build genuine 1:1 relationships with creators through stories, comments, DMs, and check-ins.
• Encourage creators to join Discord through manual outreach, comments, and DMs.
• Support the growth of our first 50 core Livaclean affiliates and treat them as VIP customers.
• Participate in bi-weekly community calls, providing support and on-camera energy.
• Build rapport with affiliates, keeping them engaged and informed.
• Provide creators with resources, updates, and reminders about campaigns.
• Assist founders during calls until you’re ready to lead or co-lead them.
• Maintain personal connections, learning content style and preferences.
• Organize and optimize Discord channels, roles, automations, and engagement systems.
• Run mini-challenges, events, polls, and interactive activities.
• Monitor community health and propose improvements regularly.
• Invite TikTok creators and affiliates into Discord via DMs and comments.
• Identify potential affiliates on TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Work with existing affiliate managers to align on goals and onboarding.
• Actively engage with creators’ content to build authentic relationships.
• Comment on videos, story replies, and posts to stay top-of-mind.
• Help founders prepare for community calls with agendas, reminders, and follow-ups.
• Track Discord engagement metrics, affiliate performance, and onboarding progress.
• Maintain clean communication logs and tracking sheets for creator interactions.
