Job summary

Magic, Inc is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to own outreach for local franchise partners. This remote, full-time role focuses on building relationships with schools, sports teams, and community groups to grow presence and goodwill.

You will pitch fundraising opportunities, coordinate events, and track progress in a simple CRM or spreadsheet. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with a passion for community involvement.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in community outreach or local marketing
• Demonstrated outreach experience — cold calling, prospecting, or direct pitching to businesses or organizations
• Comfortable and confident making outbound phone calls as a core part of the role
• Experience in food/restaurant/local marketing space preferred
• Strong organizational skills with experience tracking multiple relationships or projects

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with local schools and community groups
• Identify and pitch fundraising opportunities to local businesses and organizations
• Collaborate with store managers to ensure events are properly scheduled and resourced
• Reach out to potential partners via direct messages on social media platforms
• Make outbound calls to schools and businesses to introduce partnership opportunities
• Send professional messages via email and social channels
• Coordinate School Pizza Nights and other fundraising events
• Organize and market community events, including table tents, spirit nights, and donation requests
• Track outreach efforts, partnership status, and event results in a simple CRM or spreadsheet
• Report weekly on outreach activity and partnership pipeline
