The role requires solid Australian tax awareness and expertise in management accounting, budgeting and financial modelling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant accounting, management accounting or commercial finance experience.
• Practical experience with Australian accounting, taxation and SME environments.
• Strong management accounting capability: budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow analysis.
• Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow, profitability, margins and working capital.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to explain concepts to non-accountants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and variances.
• Analyse P&L, balance sheet and cash flow; identify trends and gaps.
• Build driver-based budgets and rolling forecasts; develop cash-flow models.
• Create meaningful management reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with bookkeeping team to improve data quality and reporting.
