Job summary

QC Engineering is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. You will operate and set Durma and LVD CNC Press Brakes, read engineering drawings, and ensure high-quality sheet metal production.

You will use the ERP system to support production flow and maintain accuracy and finish. The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or within a production team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC Press Brakes is highly preferred.
• Experience with Durma and/or LVD Press Brakes is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Experience working with an ERP system is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set Durma and LVD CNC Press Brakes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Set up machines and ensure correct tooling and production settings.
• Produce sheet metal components to required specifications and quality standards.
• Use the ERP system to support production flow and job tracking.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy, quality, and finish.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow LEAN manufacturing principles and established production procedures.
