Job summary

Ajaia | AI Consultancy is hiring a Cloud Security & DevOps Engineer to manage and secure our multi‑cloud infrastructure (GCP and Azure). This technical, hands‑on role involves configuring infrastructure, enforcing security controls, and building automation to reduce manual overhead in IT and security operations.

The company operates AI products across regulated industries, so you will support compliance at the infrastructure level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure security, or CI/CD.
• Hands‑on experience with multi‑cloud (GCP and Azure).
• Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
• Experience building and securing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and monitoring.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with security monitoring and onboarding automation.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2 compliance at infrastructure level is a plus.
• Strong documentation skills; able to work autonomously in remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure multi‑cloud infrastructure and enforce security controls.
• Manage deployment pipelines and build automation to reduce manual overhead.
• Support compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2) at the infrastructure level.
• Hand‑on internal IT operations: access management, endpoint security, onboarding automation.
• Use AI tools in daily workflows for scripting, logs, and documentation.
