Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Senior C# Full-Stack Engineer to design and build high-performance data pipelines, annotation tooling, and evaluation systems that power AI training and model evaluation. This is a remote hourly contract role with flexible hours, 20–40 hours per week.

You will collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams to ensure scalable, reliable C# solutions across production codebases while shaping the infrastructure for next-generation AI systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional C# development experience.
• Strong background in building data pipelines and backend services.
• Experience with asynchronous streams and distributed systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance C# systems that power AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows
• Develop full-stack tooling and backend services for data annotation and quality control
• Improve reliability, performance, and safety across production C# codebases
• Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable, resilient fixes
• Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams to support model training and evaluation pipelines
• Participate in synchronous design reviews to iterate on architecture and implementation decisions
