Qualifications

• A few years of professional software engineering experience building backend systems.
• Growth mindset with curiosity and openness to feedback.
• Strong general-purpose programming skills and fundamentals.
• Solid debugging and performance-tuning of production services.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Comfort using AI coding assistants like Claude Code as part of workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own backend features end-to-end from discovery to deployment and ops.
• Help design and evolve distributed systems for performance and scalability.
• Build and maintain APIs and data access patterns for analytics and search.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines powering features and ML workloads.
• Ensure data reliability, quality, and timely delivery across systems.
