Qualifications

• Strong bookkeeping and journal entry skills.
• Experience preparing and interpreting financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Fact-check accounting and financial information for accuracy.
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) from raw financial data.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with local legal requirements.
• Prepare financial reports by analyzing, collecting, and condensing account trends and data.
• Maintain accurate ledgers, post and reconcile journal entries, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, Wave) to record transactions and maintain a chart of accounts.
• Organize financial data to support tax filings, including Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
• Collaborate with CPAs to resolve discrepancies and respond to client questions.
• Maintain flexibility to work extended hours during deadline periods (e.g., tax season).
