Job summary

HireHawk is seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper to maintain financial records, support bookkeeping operations, and ensure reliable data across the business. You will work with QuickBooks, AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and process consistency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks experience, Online or Desktop.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Experience performing reconciliations and supporting month-end close.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records across bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Manage AP/AR processes to support billing and cash flow visibility.
• Perform bank, credit card, vendor, customer, and inventory reconciliations.
• Support month-end close by reviewing transactions and ensuring accuracy.
• Use QuickBooks Online/Desktop to maintain accounting records and prepare reports.
• Support inventory accounting, cost tracking, and purchasing records.
• Identify gaps and improve bookkeeping workflows and processes.
• Organize financial documents for audit-readiness; communicate needs to internal teams.
