Job summary

Hire Overseas is seeking a Python Developer (Django & Rust) to own backend systems for a mobile-first gaming platform. You will build and maintain backend services in Python, Django and Rust, focusing on APIs, data models, and scalable gameplay features.

You’ll work closely with product and game teams, shipping production code, improving performance, and contributing to platform reliability in a fast-moving environment. This is a fully remote role with international collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6+ years of backend or full-stack experience.
• Strong production experience with Python, Django, and Rust.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services.
• Relational database knowledge and backend architecture understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python, Django and Rust.
• Design RESTful APIs consumed by mobile and web clients.
• Build core game-related backend logic for gameplay and progression.
• Collaborate with product, game design, and frontend engineers; support live features.
