Job summary

Outsourced.ph is hiring for a remote, homebased role supporting an Australian client in the high-security fencing sector. You will assist engineering with drafting, design, and as-built documentation, while managing project data and BOMs.

The job includes creating precise drawings, coordinating with sales for quotes, and improving product designs to meet delivery targets. Applicants should be comfortable working from a dedicated home office with reliable internet and will contribute to cost

Qualifications

• Experience supporting engineering teams with drafting and project data management.
• Ability to coordinate design drawings and BOM updates.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering team with drafting, design, and as-built documentation for customer approval.
• Manage project and engineering data storage and ensure latest information is used.
• Develop accurate bills of materials and labor hours; update material costs.
• Provide drafting support to Sales and Estimating to help win orders.
• Coordinate briefings from sales/estimating to define scope and delivery.
• Oversee and develop product designs to meet project specs and delivery requirements.
• Ensure designs specify quantities, quality requirements, and tolerances.
• Identify methods to lower labour content and product costs.
• Manage standard product library, revise drawings, and maintain document control.
