Job summary

Avahi is seeking an Amazon Connect Engineer to design and deliver cloud contact center solutions for SMB customers. You will lead discovery workshops, translate requirements into contact flow designs, and own end-to-end Connect implementations with Avahi's team for deeper AI workstreams.

The role blends hands-on Connect configuration with business analysis and requires strong telephony knowledge and experience with CRM integrations.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on experience designing and implementing Amazon Connect solutions (contact flows, queues, routing)
Experience running customer-facing workshops and presenting designs
Solid understanding of traditional telephony concepts (SIP/PSTN, IVR, ACD)
Experience integrating Amazon Connect with major CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho)
Strong knowledge of AWS services for Connect deployments (Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch)
Familiarity with CCP customization and AWS IAM configurations

Responsibilities

Lead customer discovery workshops to understand contact center operations and KPIs
Design contact center solutions and present recommendations to stakeholders
Configure Amazon Connect instances: contact flows, queues, routing, hours
Develop and optimize IVR experiences and omnichannel capabilities
Collaborate with developers to build CCP interfaces and backend integrations
Coordinate with data scientists on conversational AI use cases
