TELUS Digital AI Community is seeking an AI Speech & Audio Specialist to join our global network of experts. You will evaluate AI-generated speech, review ASR outputs, and perform advanced audio editing to help build natural, culturally relevant voice experiences.

You will contribute to datasets, quality checks, and voice AI projects, leveraging linguistics, phonetics, and audio engineering skills in a remote, independent contractor setup.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in audio/speech fields.
• Experience in audio production, sound design, dialogue editing, or AI speech projects.
• Knowledge of audio editing, segmentation, spectrogram analysis and quality assessment.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate AI-generated speech (TTS) for naturalness and pronunciation.
• Review ASR outputs for transcription issues and accents.
• Perform professional audio editing including segmentation and noise reduction.
• Analyze recordings using waveform and spectrogram tools.
• Support creation and validation of high-quality speech datasets.
• Ensure voice recordings have clarity and technical quality.
• Perform audio quality checks like loudness and clipping.
• Support voice AI projects including TTS/ASR/evaluation.
• Apply phonetics and linguistics expertise to improve AI voices.
