Job summary

TELUS Digital AI Community seeks a linguist to analyze AI-generated speech for naturalness and pronunciation across Tagalog varieties. You will evaluate ASR outputs, annotate data with phonetic and prosodic labels, and provide feedback to improve TTS and voice AI models.

Qualifications

• Native-level Tagalog (C1/C2+) required.
• Professional English (B1+) required for documentation and collaboration.
• Completion of a linguistic qualification assessment and IDV process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AI-generated speech for naturalness, pronunciation, prosody and emotion.
• Identify transcription and linguistic issues in ASR outputs.
• Evaluate grammar, semantics, pragmatics, and discourse coherence.
• Annotate datasets with phonetic transcription and prosodic markup.
• Support language resource creation and model improvement.
