Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers to build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code in a fully remote, flexible contract role. You’ll help train AI systems to think like real developers by writing solutions, reviewing outputs, and providing expert feedback that makes AI coding assistants smarter, safer, and more reliable.

This is hands-on engineering work at the frontier of AI development, with you working asynchronously on your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more languages listed; strong CS fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across languages.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and efficiency.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide detailed reasoning for code decisions.
• Design coding prompts and edge cases to stress-test AI capabilities.
• Rank AI solutions by engineering quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously.
