Job summary

Offshore 24/7 is seeking an experienced automation engineer in the Philippines to design and ship AI-powered automations and agents for Australian clients. You will work across n8n, Zapier, Make, Power Automate and custom code, delivering end-to-end solutions that save time and reduce manual work.

Role emphasizes ownership from problem to documented solution, with autonomous, varied projects and ongoing training. This is an initial 3-month contract with possibilities for extension, fully remote.

Qualifications

Strong written and spoken English.
At least 2 years of professional software development, systems integration or automation experience.
Hands-on experience applying AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI or Claude) in production automation.

Responsibilities

Design and build AI-powered automations and agents, integrating APIs and middleware.
Connect business systems such as Microsoft 365, CRM, rostering, finance and communications platforms.
Apply AI/LLM APIs to real business problems with controlled automation.
Automate repetitive admin and data-processing work across systems.
Ensure security, privacy and access controls for developed solutions.
Test, document and maintain code including error handling and monitoring.
Provide training and instructions to staff using the systems developed.
Advise leadership on further time and cost savings through AI and automation.
