Job summary

Pencil is building the agentic OS for marketing, engineered for brand-safe, scalable AI. We seek an Agent Architect to design the brain of Pencil—multi-agent workflows, tool-call structures, and evaluation loops powering our creative engine and client solutions.

You’ll bridge creative intent with machine execution, ensuring robust, high-fidelity outputs across text, image, and video for global brands and ambitious small businesses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct GenAI experience with LLMs and multimodal models.
• Systems thinking: consider context, latent space, and input-output chaining.
• Proficiency in Python, JSON, and API docs; orchestration experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-agent workflows and tool use (RAG, API integrations).
• Develop rigorous evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance at scale.
• Create reusable agents and prompt libraries for 1,000+ brands with unique voices.
• Collaborate with AI Engineering and Product to route behaviors via prompting, RAG, or fine-tuning.
• Lead client deployments, translating creative briefs into deterministic AI workflows.
