Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of dedicated experience in Accounts Receivable follow-up and denial management within US Healthcare RCM.
• Advanced proficiency in RCM/Practice Management Systems and payer portals for claims status and eligibility.
• Strong knowledge of EOBs, RAs, and standard denial/adjustment codes.

Responsibilities

• A/R Follow-Up: Review and follow up on outstanding insurance claims beyond standard payment cycles.
• Denial Analysis & Resolution: Analyze EOBs/RAs and denial codes to identify root causes of non-payment.
• Appeals Management: Prepare and submit well-researched appeals with supporting documentation.
• Payer Communication: Proactively contact payers to check claim status and negotiate resolutions.
• Underpayment Review: Identify and pursue recovery for underpaid or incorrectly paid claims.
• Trend Identification: Document denial trends and provider process changes to a manager.
• Reporting: Maintain notes and generate A/R performance reports.
