The Rematado Gadget Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and preparing rematado gadgets for resale. The role ensures that gadgets acquired through pawnshop operations meet company quality standards, are accurately evaluated, and are maintained in good working condition. The position also supports branch operations through technical assessment, repair services, and proper documentation of gadget inventory and status.
This position is within the pawnshop industry; therefore, familiarity with gadget appraisal, testing, repair, inventory management, and branch operations is relevant to the role's responsibilities.
Inspect, test, and evaluate rematado gadgets received from branches.
Diagnose hardware and software issues affecting mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices.
Perform repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment to restore gadgets to optimal working condition.
Verify gadget specifications, functionality, accessories, and overall condition.
Conduct technical assessments to support gadget appraisal and valuation processes.
Prepare gadgets for resale by ensuring quality, functionality, and presentable condition.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, testing results, parts replacements, and gadget status.
Coordinate with branches regarding gadget concerns, technical findings, and repair requirements.
Assist in inventory monitoring and safekeeping of gadgets, spare parts, and repair tools.
Ensure compliance with company procedures for gadget handling, documentation, and asset management.
Maintain company-issued tools, equipment, and workstations in proper working condition.
Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Graduate of Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical/vocational course.
At least 1–2 years of experience in gadget repair, electronics servicing, pawnshop appraisal, or related technical functions.
Knowledge of mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices.
Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic gadgets.
Familiarity with gadget appraisal processes, inventory handling, and documentation.
Proficient in using repair tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity and accountability when handling company and customer assets.
Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Willing to learn and adapt to company procedures and operational requirements.
