The Relationship Officer (RO) is responsible for managing full-service banking relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience to a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. The role focuses on acquiring new relationships, strengthening existing client partnerships, and providing customized wealth management solutions that address clients’ immediate and long-term financial needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acquire new clients through direct prospecting and by developing strong internal and external referral networks.
- Cultivate, expand, and strengthen existing relationships through in-depth client profiling and comprehensive financial needs assessments.
- Understand and anticipate clients’ unique financial requirements and proactively provide appropriate solutions.
- Develop customized financial strategies and integrated solutions by leveraging knowledge of investments, banking, trust, wealth transfer, and financial planning.
- Engage the Bank’s resources and various lines of business to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.
- Serve as a key conduit to other business units by identifying and referring opportunities based on clients’ financial needs.
- Generate growth in client balances through proactive recommendations and referrals of appropriate products and services across the Bank.
- Maintain a proactive, disciplined, and client-centric approach in managing relationships and achieving business objectives.
Job Specifications / Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree or college graduate.
Work Experience
- 3–4 years of relevant work experience in any of the following:
- Banking
- Relationship Management
- Sales and Marketing
- Wealth Management or related financial services
Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Attributes
- Computer literate and proficient in using standard office applications.
- Basic knowledge of investments, banking products, and financial concepts.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Sales-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
- Ability to understand client needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
