Job summary

Marsh Re-FAC in Mexico City is seeking a Reinsurance Claims Leader to guide the Mexico Claims strategy, serving as the senior advisor to clients, brokers and reinsurers and ensuring technical excellence and strong commercial outcomes.

The role requires an experienced leader who can build trusted relationships, coordinate between Placement and Claims, and lead a high-performing team through complex and high-value facultative claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• 9 year minimum experience in complex reinsurance claims.
• Strong knowledge of reinsurance wordings, coverage analysis and claims negotiations.
• Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
• Experience engaging with senior clients, reinsurers and executive stakeholders.
• Fluent Spanish and English.

The Claims Leader will be responsible for leading, developing and executing the Marsh Re FAC Claims strategy in Mexico. This individual will serve as the senior claims advisor to clients, brokers, reinsurers and internal stakeholders, ensuring technical excellence, commercial impact and outstanding client outcomes.

The role requires a highly experienced leader capable of building trusted relationships across the market, driving collaboration between Placement and Claims teams, and positioning Claims as a strategic differentiator for Marsh Re. • Lead complex negotiations involving coverage, liability, quantum and settlement strategies.
• Represent Marsh Re in strategic client meetings, market discussions and industry forums.

What you need to have:
