Job summary

SMBC Group in Makati seeks a Regulatory Reports Analyst to prepare and submit BSP and PDIC regulatory reports, support financial reporting and compliance, and contribute to automation initiatives. You will collaborate with the team to ensure data integrity and timely submissions.

You will handle monthly FRP statements, assist in regulatory examinations, and work with Overseas Offices as needed to ensure accurate regulatory disclosures and sound financial reporting practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and basic accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; experience with report automation is a plus.

• Prepare and submit BSP and PDIC regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Compute and process PDIC premium payments and related reports.
• Prepare monthly financial statements in the Financial Reporting Package (FRP) format.
• Support reconciliation of Regulatory Financial Statements versus Audited Financial Statements.
• Assist in preparing schedules and disclosures for regulatory examinations and external audits.
• Contribute to the automation and enhancement of reporting systems and processes.
• Carry out accounting procedures for Overseas Offices and International Banking Units as needed.

As a Regulatory Reports Analyst under the Finance Accounting Department (FAD), you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate and timely reports to regulatory bodies such as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC). You will also support financial reporting, compliance requirements, and automation initiatives while contributing to the team's overall goals.
