Job summary

The Citi team in Manila is seeking a Local Regulatory Reporting Analyst, Officer, hybrid role. You will support the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to local regulators (BSP, SEC, PDIC) and collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Operations to maintain data quality and compliance.

Required are at least two years in financial services regulatory reporting, a finance or accounting degree, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to navigate complex regulatory

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting.
• Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and elevate to seniors.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic environment and work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the production, analysis and submission of reports to local regulators (BSP, SEC, PDIC, etc.) based on local statutory reporting requirements.
• Monitor and manage key metrics associated with reports and support controls to ensure data accuracy.
• Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency and transparency of the regulatory reporting process.
• Work with peers and program leaders on regulatory changes within the reporting framework.
• Partner with Risk & Controls to maintain an effective internal control structure.
• Escalate problems or issues related to processes, reports, or procedures.
• Integrate established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.

The Regulatory Reporting role is an analyst position that will support the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to various constituencies (BSP, SEC, PDIC, etc.) based on applicable requirements such as local regulatory reporting rules and instructions. The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization with opportunities to work directlywith other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi, including the Businesses, Risk, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as Enterprise Technology, & Operations.

In this role, you are expected to:

• Support the production, analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators - BSP, SEC, PDIC, , etc.) based on local statutory reporting requirements and instructions.

• Assist in monitoring and managing key metrics associated with reports to identify challenges and issues. Support the execution of controls processes to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist the team to drive process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of the regulatory reporting process.

• Partner with Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal control’s structure.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• At least 2 years of experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting.
• Basic knowledge of U.S. or Philippine regulatory reports such as those mentioned above.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and elevate to seniors.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.
