Job summary

The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking a Regulatory Reports Analyst in Manila to prepare and submit regulated filings for BSP and PDIC, support FRP reporting, and assist with audits. You will help automate reporting processes and ensure accuracy across regulatory statements.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance, strong Excel skills, and meticulous, analytical thinking to meet tight deadlines with high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; experience with report automation is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in regulatory reporting, audit, or financial accounting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit BSP and PDIC regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Compute and process PDIC premium payments and related reports.
• Prepare monthly financial statements in the Financial Reporting Package (FRP) format.
• Support reconciliation of Regulatory Financial Statements versus Audited Financial Statements.
• Assist in preparing schedules and disclosures for regulatory examinations and external audits.
• Contribute to the automation and enhancement of reporting systems and processes.
• Carry out accounting procedures for Overseas Offices and International Banking Units as needed.
• Provide support to the Regulatory Reporting Unit Head and Department Head in achieving organizational goals.
