The role involves frequent coordination with internal teams and external bodies, monitoring regulatory updates, and traveling across Metro Cebu and nearby provinces. The candidate will ensure accuracy, manage permit renewals, resolve compliance issues, and maintain robust agency relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture.
• 2–3 years in government relations or permit processing.
• Familiarity with interpreting plans/drawings and AutoCAD; travel for work.
• Good working attitude, systematic, flexible, result-oriented, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Computer literate with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and reviews forms and documents to align with regulations from local government agencies; checks accuracy before submission.
• Keeps updated on regulatory changes and audits internal copies for compliance.
• Coordinates submission, retrieval, and tracking of documents with city halls and municipalities.
• Handles timely renewal of permits and licenses.
• Addresses discrepancies or compliance issues with agencies and organizes documentation for audits.
• Updates stakeholders on regulatory changes and discusses potential implications.
• Manages and resolves stakeholder inquiries related to compliance processes.
• Cultivates relationships with agency representatives and LGUs for updated procedures.
• Engages in negotiations for compliance challenges or clarifications.
• Flags urgent compliance concerns to top management and disseminates changes to internal teams.
