Job summary

Salmon Bank (Rural Bank) Inc., the banking arm of Salmon Group Ltd., is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Officer to support Compliance in monitoring the BSP regulatory environment. You will track BSP circulars, AMLC advisories and other issuances, assess how they affect our products and operations, and help the business implement them.

You will also draft submissions and responses for regulators, and support Compliance leadership in engaging with the BSP.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Law, Business, Finance, Accounting).
2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, legal or related banking control function.
Working knowledge of MORB, AMLC issuances and BSP issuances for digital banking or willingness to be trained in them.
Strong drafting and written communication skills.
Strong coordination and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

Regulatory monitoring: track BSP circulars, AMLC advisories and other issuances and follow forthcoming consultations.
Submissions: assist with regulatory submissions, license amendments and other filings for review and approval.
Obligations register: maintain the regulatory obligations register and track deadlines.
Impact assessment: coordinate with business units on implementing new regulatory requirements and follow up on action items.
Regulator engagement support: assist leadership with documentation and logistics for supervisory meetings.
