About the role

DGPI-TGP is looking for licensed Registered Pharmacists to join our team and provide safe, accurate, and professional pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, smile and thank customers; stay at counter to assist customers
• Read, decode, check and approve prescriptions
• Dispense pharmaceutical products
• Provide medical and health information to customers and patients
• Inform customers or patients on available equivalent generic products
• Record prescriptions and file accordingly
• Handle product-related inquiries and complaints
• Advise customers and patients on proper use, intake and storage of products
• Reconstitute oral powder for suspension if required
• Conduct available health services that TGP offers
• Oversee total store look, cleanliness and arrangement of stocks
• Keep and secure keys, open and close stores, and ensure overall security of premises
• Monitor inventory of stocks
• Prepare product orders based on actual store needs
• Monitor and pull out damaged, defective and expiring products
• Check product appearance and manifestation of degradation
• Accept, check and count deliveries and ensure they tally with orders
• Allow TGP Coordinator and FDA Inspectors to enter outlet premises and assist in their needs
• Liaise with FDA in renewal of license to operate
• Check and monitor correctness of sales
• Give inputs to enhance sales
• Orient new personnel
• Coach all personnel in giving good customer service and patient counselling
• Attend seminars to upgrade knowledge
