Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Ensure proper storage, display, and FEFO procedures for medicines.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and therapeutic arrangement of medicines.
• Coordinate with store management and regulatory agencies during inspections.
• Support store operations and guide pharmacy staff as needed.

Job description

We are looking for a Registered Pharmacist (Retail Pharmacy) to oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while providing excellent customer and patient care. The Pharmacist will support safe dispensing practices, provide counseling on medicines, and help ensure the availability and proper management of pharmacy products.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with all regulatory requirements and standards set by the FDA (formerly BFAD) and other governing bodies
• Review and dispense prescriptions while ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in the prescription book
• Provide counseling to customers on the proper use, dosage, and storage of medicines
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of essential and fast-moving medicines
• Ensure proper storage, display, and security of medicines while implementing First Expiry, First Out (FEFO) procedures
• Maintain updated regulatory documents including License to Operate (LTO), permits, and required pharmacy records
• Validate and document Senior Citizen and PWD transactions in compliance with regulations
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and therapeutic arrangement of medicines in the pharmacy
• Coordinate with store management and regulatory agencies during inspections or compliance reviews
• Support overall store operations and provide guidance to pharmacy staff when needed
