Aboitiz Foods is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Whole Visayas area to execute sales strategy, manage territories, and drive growth within budget. Lead a sales team toward targets, build distributor partnerships, and guide regional initiatives for profitability.

Responsibilities include market placement, pricing reviews, KRAs monitoring, and collaborations on corporate initiatives. Strong leadership and strategic thinking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year business-related course; Vet/Animal Science degree an advantage.
• At least 5 years in Region Manager role or 4 years in distribution sales.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales strategy across all territories in Visayas.
• Develop and monitor placement strategies for the region.
• Maintain professional relationships with distributors as a core strategy.
• Review pricing and respond to market opportunities.
• Monitor regional KRAs and conduct performance reviews.
• Assist in AR management and collections.
• Participate in corporate initiatives (ISO, HACCP, 5S/GMP, etc.).

Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the execution of sales strategy and sales targets by managing and integrating, all territories within an assigned region through continuous training, development and motivation of his/her sales team toward agreed objectives and the achievement of prescribed sales targets within an allocated budget to generate business growth, achieve profitability and increase brand value.

Market Potential

• Evaluates the dealer and end-user market reading and coordinates with Marketing for the result of the Market Potential of their assigned region.

Business Plan

• Develops, evaluates and monitors implementation of the placement strategies for the region.
• Evaluates the proposal and elevates for approval overall business approach of the territory and integrates with the entire region whenever necessary.

Customer Relations

• Ensures that professional close working relationship with distributors is established and maintained as a critical strategy for customer relations.
• Provides assistance to distributors and customers and leads in the creation of their strategies with focus on integrating the support required by the customers.
• Demonstrates high level of professionalism when dealing with customers
• Conducts Business Review with Customers at least twice a year and draw-up tactical plans for implementation.

Sales Operations

• Reviews and evaluates the endorsement on prospective customers.
• Ensures consistent implementation of pricing within the region and reviews & provides recommendation on tactical pricing to respond to immediate market opportunities.
• Integrates and monitors implementation of regional KRAs and conducts performance review of all defined territories.
• Helps in managing AR of the region through effective implementation of collection system.
• Review, monitors implementation and evaluates effectiveness of sales activities of the Region
• Monitors the services of third party manpower service provider in the technical sales in the region.

People Development

• Supervises, monitors and evaluates the performance of direct subordinates.
• Builds IDP and provides intervention for the development and growth of direct subordinates.

Other Tasks

• Participates in current and future corporate initiatives such as PL, PPM, ISO, HACCP, 5S/GMP, ISMS, Brand, Corporate Social Responsibility, Safety, etc.
• Participates in projects and improvements on sales and marketing process as may be assigned.
• Performs other work-related tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• At least a graduate of any 4-year business-related course and with a degree in Veterinary Medicine or Animal Science an advantage.
• At least 5 years working experience in a related industry in an RSM capacity or 4 years sales experience in the distribution business.
