Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Advanced professional certifications (NEBOSH Diploma, CSP, CIH, IOSH MS or equivalent).
• ISO management system certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• 10+ years progressive HSSE leadership experience in multinational corporate environment.
• 5+ years senior management experience in SEA, ANZ region with cultural competency.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSSE program implementation across multiple facilities within assigned countries/region.
• Ensure consistent application of JLL safety standards.
• Manage local HSSE team including Site Safety Officers and specialized coordinators.
• Drive operational excellence while maintaining flexibility for local business requirements.
• Implement regional HSSE strategy developed by APAC Lead with local adaptation.
• Ensure comprehensive compliance with local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Establish process and procedure for reporting to local regulatory authorities and government agencies.
• Lead country-specific risk assessments and develop localized mitigation strategies.
• Oversee implementation of account HSSE System and compliance with HSSE programs.
• Coordinate local permits, licenses, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Adapt global HSSE standards to meet local regulatory and cultural requirements.
• Monitor and report regional HSSE performance to APAC Lead and local leadership/teams.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews with site teams and provide quarterly regional reports.
• Analyse local trends and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Benchmark performance against local industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive corrective actions for performance gaps and non-conformances.
• Support audit assessments and compliance programs.
